WAR BUNNY--THURSDAY 21st!! 

War Bunny is playing in San Francisco, Thursday, August 21st. The girl that sings for them is soooo dreamy. The venue is Galia--2565 Mission Street, between 21st and 22nd streets. Doors open at 8pm. I will be there wearing a burnt mustard colored mo-hair jacket, most likely. Come down, bring friends, and chill.

Okay, okay, okay. I have decided to publish my novel on the internet.

I have been having trouble finding a decent publisher for my book. I have also been negotiating publishing it bit by bit in magazines or e-magazines as a weekly series, but it does not pay fiddly-diddly. I think that the first chapter of my new one Octoroon would be nice to put on the web to kind of pull people in. I am trying to finish a final draft this month. The thing is I can't pay my rent this month, so I've been trying to get $$ together and haven't had time to work. I will try to feed it in, piece by piece. The book is going to be crafted so that each chapter is like a short story that fills in pieces of a larger story, kind of like a jigsaw puzzle. This makes it easy to post on the web, chapter by chapter. The hard part is that it skips around time/space. If you have read Slaughter House Five or Infinite Jest, it's kind of like that. Sooooo, if you tune in and it seems like things are skipping around, you haven't missed something, it's supposed to be that way. I don't want to give it away, but you will just have to trust that it makes sense to the central metaphor of the novel.

I will absolutely love feedback once it is up. If you want to publish my work drop me a line. If you just want to harangue me, you can do that too.
